About Position

Looking for C++ Algorithm Developer

  • Role: C++ Algorithm Developer
  • Location: All PSL
  • Experience: 7 to 12 Years
  • Job Type: Full Time Employment

What You'll Do

  • MSc/PhD or equivalent education in a quantitative scientific discipline.
  • 7+ years’ experience in C++ development
  • Experience of distributed, multi-core or many-core data-driven processing algorithm development.
  • Ability to rapidly learn about new techniques and technologies.
  • Experience with high-performance multi-core profiling and code optimisation techniques.
  • Extensive experience of software development in C++ (C++11 or above).
  • Experience of version control in a team environment.

Desirable

  • Experience in Python programming.
  • Experience with C++17 or above.
  • Experience with code vectorisation (C++ intrinsics, SIMD etc.).
  • Have experience with containerisation (Docker/Singularity)
  • Knowledge of radio astronomy data processing is highly advantageous.
