In a context of deployment and industrial operation of an early-stage fault-tolerant quantum computer at a strategic client site, the Technical Account Manager - Quantum Computing is the guarantor of operational excellence, system reliability, and service continuity.
Reporting to the VP of Business, you will work closely with engineering, R&D, product, and tech operations teams to ensure day-to-day performance of the quantum system, smooth client operations, and continuous improvement of service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-site operational excellence of the quantum system
- Manage incidents, tickets, and service continuity
- Act as the technical interface with the client
- Coordinate internal technical stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement and operational readiness
Requirements:
- Hard Skills
- Operation of complex technical systems (HW/SW integration)
- Incident management & troubleshooting
- System monitoring and operational tooling
- Technical reporting & KPI tracking
- Client-facing technical communication
- IT knowledge (admin networking, system, python, …)
- Soft Skills
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Structured, rigorous, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to operate autonomously on a client site
- Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy
- Calm and effective under pressure
- Full driving license (B) required
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Hardware, Applied Physics, Systems Engineering, or related fields)
- Minimum 7 years in one or more of the following contexts:
- Technical Account Management
- On-site technical support / field engineering
- Operation of advanced scientific or industrial systems
- Complex infrastructure or high-availability environments
- French: Fluent (mandatory - client environment)
- English: Proficient (mandatory - internal communication)
