(Senior) Java Developer with Liferay -Full Remote

Category: IT Services Location: Fort Western Province Sri Lanka For an international organization in Europe, we are urgently looking for a FULL REMOTE (Senior) Java Developer with Liferay knowledge and experience. This is a 100% remote position. Candidates need to be fluent in English. Candidates need to be able to work the European schedule. During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews. All positions are long-term. Tasks and Responsibilities: Create a utility to import content from the OpenCms to Liferay DXP: Static and structure content; Metadata, taxonomy, and tags; Multilingual content; Create multilingual websites; Integrate LDAP, create users, groups roles, and permissions; Create themes, layouts, page templates, and fragments (design elements) based on Web Style Guide (Responsive Web Design); Create workflows; Create user dashboards; Develop Liferay custom modules (portlets, hooks) based on application requirements; Integrate Google search; Provide daily updates and alias with other team members; Other related tasks as required; Profile: Bachelor or Master degree or comparable through experience; +5/+10 years of Java Development experience; Experience with RESTful APIs, Angular, JSON, XML; Expert in the Liferay Web Content Management System (CMS) with: Experience working on CMS migrations; Extensive knowledge in Liferay themes and fragments development; Extensive knowledge of Liferay out-of-box features and widgets; Extensive knowledge of Liferay custom modules development and search integration; Fluent in English; Interested : If you have the right profile, you have the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team working for a company with global exposure, providing you a great working environment and ample space to learn and develop.
