(Senior) QA Engineer with .NET and Angular - FULL REMOTE

For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE (Senior) QA Engineer for .NET and Angular-based applications. The QA Engineer should be experienced with a history of working in an agile environment. Candidates must have hands-on experience working with Angular, .NET, MS SQL in teams building large consumer-facing web applications from the ground up.
Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. This position is open for freelancers and employees.
Candidates need to be able to work normal office hours in New York, US. Example 9 AM NY time equals 7:30 PM.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Work within an agile team to ensure the quality of complex .NET and Angular based Web and mobile applications;
  
• Test applications in multilingual setup;
  
• Execute functional test scripts and analyze bugs for systems in development;
  
• Perform manual testing on a variety of browsers and operating systems;
  
• Work closely with developers to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues proactively;
  
• Perform load testing using a variety of tools as per industry standards and suggest solutions for performance issues;
  
• Perform API testing using Postman and similar tools;
  
• Record defect details and create reports outlining the types of defects found and the steps taken to resolve them and update the regression test framework;
  
• Maintain knowledgebase documentation in SharePoint;
  

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
  
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance for complex web application platforms;
  
• Experience performing manual testing and executing scripted test cases;
  
• Experience with security testing, integration testing, API testing, end-to-end testing, and load testing;
  
• Experience with Mobile application testing, browser compatibility, and accessibility testing experience;
  
• Experience in identifying, analyzing, documenting, and reporting test results;
  
• Experience in writing SQL queries (DQL);
  
• Exposure to JMeter, BlazeMeter;
  
• Exposure to GitLab and CI/CD pipelines;
  
• Exposure to testing multilingual applications;
  
• Good interpersonal skills to work with developers in an agile environment;
  
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus;
  
• English language proficiency (oral and written);
