This role sits within the engineering arm of Engagement Services, working as part of a squad‑based delivery model.

The team delivers across:

• Dynamics CRM (customer journeys)
• Integration layers (APIs, services)
• Platform services and system connectivity

This supports the same broader ecosystem:

• Customer engagement
• Sales journeys
• Customer servicing

This role is part of the engineering function, working alongside:

• Product (Technical PO – defines direction)
• Architecture (sets standards and design)
• Delivery (manages timelines and execution)

What the Role Actually Does

1. Leads a Squad Technically

Acts as the technical leader for a delivery squad

Supports engineers in:

• Design decisions
• Implementation approach
• Problem solving

2. Owns Technical Quality & Standards

Ensures:

• Code quality
• Best practices
• Platform alignment

Works closely with architecture to maintain consistency

3. Drives Execution (Not Just Oversight)

• Hands‑on involvement where needed
• Removes technical blockers
• Ensures delivery aligns with plan

4. Works Across Integration & Platform Layers

Strong involvement in:

• APIs
• System integrations
• Data/service interactions

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong technical background in:
• Dynamics CRM (or similar platform)
• Integration (APIs, services)

Experience:

• Leading developers / squads

• Being hands‑on
