Senior Software Engineer

Why we need this role

Colt Capital Markets specializes in ultra‑low‑latency exchange connectivity across the world’s three major financial regions — Asia, Europe, and North America. We connect Market Makers, Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Proprietary Trading firms, and FX trading venues globally. By leveraging our high‑performance, low‑latency network infrastructure, we enable resilient, secure, and seamless trading operations for our clients.

The successful candidate will be based in our Hong Kong office and will work closely with teams and markets across Asia, Europe, and North America. Colt has an established presence in Asia, with offices located in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

What you will do

• Design and implement normalized market data solutions with a focus on low latency delivery.
• Create highly resilient, redundant solutions to assist mission critical capital markets applications
• Work directly with Capital Markets clients to create network solutions.
• Understand multicast market data routing

What we're looking for

• Business English Level
• Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
• Experience in using Linux
• Programming Languages (C++ with STL, Java, Scripting Perl, Python)
• Windows server experience is an advantage
• Knowledge in financial data
• Good logical mindset in data processing and problem solving
