Software Developer - MLA replacement

We are looking for a versatile Developer to join our MIS QA team. The role involves infrastructure development and the implementation of automation testing tools. If you have a strong technical background and are passionate about improving software quality, this is a great opportunity to make a significant impact.

Temporary six-month position to cover a maternity leave, with an option to extend.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with System, DevOps, and MIS technology leaders to design, develop, configure, and integrate automation tests and infrastructure.
• Lead the design and implementation of automated tests for various purposes, including sanity checks, regression, performance, and stability of Check Point web pages and services.
• Serve as the technical leader for automation within the MIS QA team, guiding and mentoring team members in automation practices.
• Continuously learn and implement new technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
• Effectively manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as a JAVA developer
• 1-2 years of writing web automation tests via Selenium\ Playwright
• Knowledge in Selenium page object methodologies
• Knowledge in API test automation
• Communication skills & autonomous learning skills is highly important

• Knowledge in Java Script, HTML, React
• Knowledge in GIT, Jenkins, Bamboo, Jmeter , TestNG or other automation infrastructure tools
• Experience in reporting tools (Extent or Report Portal)
• Knowledge in SQL
