What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer - Simulation & Integration you will be responsible for integrating, testing, and enhancing shared simulation software across a variety of lab environments.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop and maintain real-time distributed simulation software for aircraft and support systems.
- Integrate and troubleshoot SSS software in hardware‑in‑the‑loop and man‑in‑the‑loop labs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support Digital Transformation initiatives.
- Execute verification and validation activities to ensure software performance meets program requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and documentation for software integration efforts.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

- Experience with real-time software development & integration
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
- Experience performing software integration in hardware-in-the-loop and/or man-in-the-loop simulation environments
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as VersionOne and Jira
- An extreme interest in anything airborne, such as fighter aircraft and airplanes
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Active F-35 program access
Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
