- We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong front end development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework
- This role will support the design, development, and enhancement of web based applications used in secure government environments
- Experience building user friendly interfaces, supporting application functionality, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with teams that support cybersecurity, compliance, or authorization workflows
- Develop and maintain web based applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Build clean, responsive, and user friendly interfaces
- Support enhancements to existing applications, portals, dashboards, and workflow tools
- Work with technical and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into working software
- Troubleshoot application issues and support defect resolution
- Assist with integrating front end components with backend services, APIs, and platform workflows
- Support applications that align with Risk Management Framework processes, cybersecurity compliance, and authorization activities
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and engineering teams to improve automation, reporting, and user experience
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
- Document technical designs, system updates, and development work as needed
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field.
- Experience developing applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Understanding of front end development concepts, responsive design, and browser compatibility
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework processes and cybersecurity compliance concepts
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience troubleshooting application issues and supporting production systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to support secure systems, documentation, and compliance driven workflows
- IAT Level II or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, authorization packages, controls, POA&M tracking, or assessment workflows
- Experience with ServiceNow, GRC, IRM, CAM, or similar compliance platforms
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, or backend integration concepts
- Experience working in Agile development environments
