Here Is What The Job Entails

As Senior Account Manager, you will represent Kamstrup’s intelligent energy solutions and manage appointed customers in Denmark and selected European counties when needed. You will be acting as a trusted advisor to electricity utilities transforming needs into future-proof metering solutions. You will be responsible for initiating, planning, and executing sales activities, ensuring the development of existing sales and the growth of our pipeline in a mature market, as well as pursuing up-coming opportunities in new markets.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Developing and executing sales activities and account plans
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers
  • Acquiring new customers within the electricity market in Denmark
  • Translating customer needs into innovative total solutions (hardware, software, and services)
  • Analyzing customer requirements and market developments

You will report directly to our Head of Sales Denmark, and become an integral part of the Danish sales team, whose closest colleagues include the Product Management, Bid Management, Sales Excellence, and Marketing functions.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager, who can build and maintain long-term successful partnerships to our customers. You achieve this by combining a strong commercial mindset with a value-based and customer-centric approach, knowing when to act, how to prioritize, and being willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional results.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

  • Have minimum of 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in the technical industry
  • Demonstrate a proven track-record in complex solution selling with long sales cycles, including building up a pipeline, work strategically with account plans, while maintaining existing customers
  • Possess strong communication skills, a can-do mindset, and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Enable valuable dialogues with customers at all levels in the organization
  • Bring experience from the energy sector or a related sector working with efficiency, digitalization, Data-as-a-service, and the value adding approach is considered an advantage
  • Hold a commercial or a technical bachelor with strong commercial mindset

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish. German will be an advantage.
