Location: Hybrid – Brookfield, WI ;Hopkins, MN; Chicago, IL; Irving, TX; Atlanta, GA; Portland, OR; Columbus, OH

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using .NET Core, React.js, and cloud-native technologies.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services using C# and .NET Core.
- Develop responsive and reusable front-end components using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
- Work on Azure cloud services for application hosting, monitoring, deployment, and scalability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps best practices.
- Optimize SQL queries, database performance, and ensure data integrity across applications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and mentor junior team members.
- 7–10 years of software development experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience in designing and developing REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, or Azure DevOps tools.
- Expertise in SQL Server, database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, including automated builds, deployments, and testing.
- Strong understanding of Git version control, branching strategies, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
The annual salary for this position is between $ 83,250 to $ 132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
