Software Engineer (Splunk) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer specializing in Splunk, you will design and manage large-scale log analytics and security information systems. You will translate complex data streams into actionable operational insights, ensuring high visibility and security across the enterprise infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Develop and optimize complex SPL queries for efficient log search and advanced data analysis.
- Design and build interactive Splunk dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health and security metrics.
- Implement and manage SIEM solutions to proactively detect and respond to security threats.
- Configure and maintain Splunk architecture components, including indexers and search heads, at scale.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to define logging standards and data ingestion workflows.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of the Splunk platform through continuous monitoring and tuning.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Security Operations.
- Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing Splunk for log analytics and search.
- Proficiency in writing complex SPL queries and building dashboards at scale.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM and security information management.
- Deep understanding of log analytics and enterprise-scale data monitoring.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
