As a Software Engineer (Trino/Presto), you will run and optimize federated SQL queries across diverse data sources. You will connect the dots between fragmented data stores and unified analytics, ensuring high-performance access to heterogeneous data at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Trino or Presto clusters to support federated querying.
• Optimize query performance across various underlying data sources by tuning execution plans and resource allocation.
• Implement and maintain connectors for heterogeneous data stores, ensuring seamless data federation.
• Collaborate with data teams to define distributed SQL strategies and query governance across the organization.
• Monitor system health and throughput to ensure reliable access to real-time and batch data insights.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Distributed Systems.
• Proven expertise in running and optimizing federated SQL queries using Trino or Presto.
• Proficiency in optimizing query performance across heterogeneous data stores and distributed SQL engines.
• Deep understanding of query federation, data virtualization, and distributed data processing.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
