What you’ll be doing:

Work within the development team to extend and expand upon the features and capabilities of one of our data analytics products.

Performance Areas:

  • Be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for features within our products
  • Work with colleagues in the development team and other stake holders to understand and gather requirements as they arise
  • Transfer that understanding into well architected, scalable C++ coded solutions. This will be where most of your time will be spent.
  • Support the wider product team regarding software issues and questions that arise within the business and from customers
  • Work with the technical authoring team to aid their production of technical content

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or other numerical technical discipline

Required:

  • Fluent in English
  • Extensive experience in C++
  • Experience developing robust and scalable enterprise-grade code capable of processing large amounts of data
  • Logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solutions to the wider team
  • Experience using software design patterns

Preferred:

  • Extensive experience in a software engineering environment is a plus
  • Cross-platform development experience
  • Experience with other programming languages such as C, Python, and Java
  • Familiarity with some of the following:
  • Source control using Gito
  • Microsoft Visual C++
  • Gcco
  • Cryptography
  • Gnu make or cmake
  • ODBC and/or other third-party database APIs
  • Continuous Integration technologies such as Jenkins

Compensation & Benefits

The primary location for this opportunity is Greece. The applicable salary range for this location is:

€32,100 – €64,200 (Greece)

This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
