About the Role

We are seeking a world-class Principal Agentic Software Engineer to help define and lead the future of AI-assisted software development across a modern, large-scale technology platform.

This is a highly strategic individual contributor role designed for engineers who combine deep architectural expertise with a strong vision for how AI coding agents and agentic engineering workflows can transform software delivery at scale.

You will partner directly with executive leadership to shape long-term engineering strategy, define technical standards, modernize cloud-native systems, and drive organization-wide adoption of AI-assisted development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Define long-term engineering and platform architecture strategy
• Lead modernization initiatives for distributed cloud-native systems
• Establish engineering standards, governance frameworks, and scalability strategies

AI-Assisted Development Leadership

• Lead organization-wide adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows
• Evaluate emerging AI development tools and frameworks
• Define secure and scalable AI-agent integration practices

Cross-Functional Technical Leadership

• Lead complex cross-functional technical initiatives
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic technology decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and elevate engineering excellence across teams

Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

• Contribute to scalable cloud-native architectures
• Support Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps/SRE best practices
• Drive technical excellence across engineering systems and workflows

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering and architecture experience
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
• Expert-level proficiency in:
  • TypeScript / JavaScript
  • Python
  • C# / .NET
• Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps/SRE practices
• Deep hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and coding agents
• Experience defining technical strategy at an organizational level
• Exceptional communication, mentorship, and leadership skills
• English level: C1+ required

Nice to Have

• Experience building enterprise AI platforms or MCP ecosystems
• Public speaking, technical writing, or open-source contributions
• Experience scaling engineering organizations in high-growth environments
