You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and operators to design and deliver systems that integrate data from diverse sensors, communications, and radar systems to provide actionable intelligence and operational advantage. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in RF, signal processing, and spectrum management, along with experience contributing to mission-critical DoD programs in multi-domain environments.
This is a full time position located at MacDill AFB, FL or Ft. Belvoir, VA.
- Contingent upon contract award***
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of software applications, services, and system components.
- Architect scalable, reliable, and secure solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and code review oversight.
- Collaborate with product management, systems engineering, and QA to refine requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Drive improvements in development processes, tooling, automation, and system performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and architectural diagrams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, and production monitoring.
- Participate in and lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
Experience: 12+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience designing and building scalable, distributed, or cloud-based systems
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or event-driven architectures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead technical efforts and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
Education:Master’s degree in a related technical discipline

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Background in high-availability, high-performance, or mission-critical systems
- Experience with front-end or back-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, .NET, Spring, Django)
- Ability to influence architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy
