About The Role

Peraton's Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Software Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum Team primarily focusing on building and maintaining systems running in a containerized environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
• 2+ years of experience with Java
• 3+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 2+ years of experience with Shell Script
• 2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux
• TS/SCI with current poly

• 2 years of experience with JavaScript
• Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing
• 2 years of experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant)
• Familiarity with NiFi
• Experience with cross-domain systems

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
