Job Title: Director of Software Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Review QA strategies, challenge gaps in test planning, and help teams put practical, scalable quality assurance plans in place.
• Shape long-term strategy, refine standards, and ensure best practices are adopted across the organization.
• Provide training and coaching to educate teams on QA methodologies, clarify accountability, and reinforce standards.
• Build a culture where quality is owned by everyone, not just QA.
• Utilize test management tools, preferably qTest, and defect management tools to monitor and improve QA processes.
• Use data analytics to uncover trends and drive continuous improvement in quality assurance.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in software quality assurance leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test management tools, and defect tracking systems.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Ability to influence organizational standards and promote best practices in quality assurance.
