In this role, you will develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers while troubleshooting system issues and collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Your work will play a critical role in enabling efficient and scalable manufacturing test solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications, libraries, and instrument drivers for factory test systems
- Integrate software with automated test equipment (ATE) and hardware systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and instrumentation issues in an engineering and production environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and manufacturing engineers
- Support the deployment and continuous improvement of production test solutions
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through validation and release
- Ensure software meets quality, reliability, and performance standards for production use
- Experience developing object-oriented software using C# and/or C++
- Strong troubleshooting skills in software and hardware-integrated environments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with test systems or production/manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with:
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Instrument drivers and hardware/software integration
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and practices
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate process-driven environments
- Work on mission-critical systems supporting advanced technology development
- Collaborate with experienced engineers across multiple disciplines
- Play a direct role in delivering high-quality, production-ready solutions
- Gain exposure to both software and hardware integration challenges
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
