About the job

We are a team of RISK and IT folks whose goal is to develop and maintain a system which helps the Bank to steer its process of providing loan to customers with prudent limit management by ensuring proper exposure calculation across different dimensions like country, product, market segment and customer. We are looking forward for a team member who specializes in Software Engineering who will share the same passion and excitement as we do in this mission

• Implements backend services using serverless architecture
• Technical implementation of frontend web applications
• Implement tests as part of development process
• Implement data import and streaming pipelines
• Support solution architects to define the software architecture
• Being part of an international, distributed team
• Work closely together with business do deliver value in agile and adoptive environment
• Taking end to end responsibility for changes throughout delivery pipeline

Your core competencies

• 4−5 years professional experience in developing and operating software solutions
• Excellent programming skills in Clojure & Clojure script
• Experience developing APIs driven and Microservice/Serverless Architecture
• Very good know-how in developing distributed applications and data processing pipelines
• Practical experience with Software Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (e.g. GITHub, Jenkins & Gerrit)
• Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
• AWS experience (e.g. CloudFormation, Lambda) is plus
• Event driven architecture experience is plus

Soft skills

• Pro-active attitude and team orientation
• Excellent communication skill
• Structured working approach and problem solving skills
• Very good command of English (mandatory), German is a plus
• Motivation to constantly improve and learn new technologies
• The role is based in Poland. We are not supporting relocation or visa/work permit.
