Senior Software Engineer

Location: Onsite – Aurora, CO

Clearance: Active & transferable TS/SCI (CI Polygraph preferred)

Salary Range: $190,000–$210,000

This role is ideal for someone strong in Java or C++, software troubleshooting, integration, testing, and operational support within a structured, configuration-controlled environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and document software applications
• Identify and isolate sources of system errors or unexpected performance issues
• Support testing, integration, and delivery of new software baselines
• Analyze complex operational systems from an end-to-end perspective
• Provide immediate software solutions to restore service in operational environments
• Support real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance contract

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM Or Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
• Experience coding in Java and/or C++
• Experience in software development and/or software integration
• Active and transferable Top Secret Clearance OR TS/SCI with CI Polygraph preffered
• U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, or similar configuration management tools
• Linux/Unix experience
• SQL experience
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence
• Experience working in structured, configuration-controlled environments
• O&M contract or real-time software application support experience

Clearance Requirement

This position requires an active and transferable DoD TS(Top Secret)/SCI (CI Polygraph preferred). Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
