Job Title: Senior IID Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior IBM Integration Designer (IID) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing robust integration solutions using IBM Integration Designer and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions that align with our architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-level integration solutions using IBM Integration Designer (IID).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) and Service Component Architecture (SCA) components.
• Develop and optimize message flows, data transformations, and service orchestrations.
• Integrate IID with other middleware tools, applications, and databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning of integration solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and operational procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in integration technologies and recommend best practices.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Integration Designer (IID) and other IBM middleware tools (e.g., IBM WebSphere, IBM BPM).
• Strong proficiency in BPEL, SCA, and service integration technologies (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON).
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and writing complex SQL queries.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and related technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• IBM WebSphere and ODM certifications.
• Knowledge of Java and J2EE applications and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration.

Preferred Languages:

• Proficiency in English is required for both written and spoken communication.
• Knowledge of Dutch is preferred for seamless communication with local teams and clients, especially in client-facing roles.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive in identifying system issues and implementing preventive measures.
