Software Engineer to Credit & Fraud Platform

Join our Credit & Fraud Platform team, where we empower internal stakeholders with the tools and services needed to perform thorough, compliant, and efficient credit assessments. We are looking for a Software Engineer who thrives on complex problem-solving and wants to play a key role in developing and scaling our core services for automatic credit and fraud decision-making.

As a Software Engineer in our team, you will:

🚀 Be part of an agile product team that values quality, fast feedback, and continuous improvement

⚙️ Work primarily with backend development, using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Postgres/MongoDB, GitHub, Elastic and AWS

📦 Build and enhance scalable services and APIs that support automated and compliant credit assessments

🧠 Contribute to architectural design, helping shape a robust and adaptable credit platform

🤝 Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, from Consumer Loans and Retail Finance to B2B, analytics teams, and Customer Care to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient credit solutions to real business problems

On a personal level

You are driven by curiosity in software development and take ownership of your work, with the ability to move features from idea to production with limited guidance. You enjoy exploring new technologies and approaches, and see AI tools as a natural part of how you build, learn, and improve.

Minimum Requirements

✓ At least 3 years of experience with backend development

✓ Comfortable using AI tools in your daily coding work

✓ Experience in REST API design and security

✓ You know how to build and grow your network and influence beyond our own team

Meriting Skills

✓ Experience working professionally with Spring Boot

✓ Experience of OAuth/JWT authentication, and data privacy

✓ Experience working with services in Kubernetes and/or Serverless on AWS

✓ Experience or interest in related frontend work using TypeScript and React

✓ Experience working with PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ

✓ You champion having a great CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions and workflows
