Perry Weather is the weather safety standard for organizations that operate outdoors. We pair hyperlocal on-site sensors with a software platform that automates alerts, compliance, and real-time operational decisions. Over 5,000 organizations trust us, including NFL and MLB teams, school districts, universities, and municipalities across the country.

We're hiring an Account Executive to own new bookings across our education and local government markets. These are Perry Weather's most established verticals, with 2,000+ customers across 45+ states, partnerships with 20+ state high school athletic associations, and strong regulatory tailwinds driving demand. The brand awareness and product-market fit are already there. We need someone who can execute.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle sales across K-12, higher education, and local government accounts
  • Build and manage a pipeline through strategic prospecting and outbound activity
  • Develop champions who can navigate internal approvals, board decisions, and committee-based procurement
  • Align proposals to budget cycles and fiscal year timelines common in public sector buying
  • Help customers identify grants and funding pathways to accelerate purchases
  • Sell on value, connecting Perry Weather to faster decisions, reduced liability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of closing experience in a hunter role
  • Experience selling into SLED markets
  • Proven ability to manage a pipeline and close deals
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with a competitive drive and resilience
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
