Software Engineer II (Full Stack)

We are looking for a Software Engineer II (Full Stack) who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications and solving real-world problems. As an SDE-II, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and owning end-to-end features across the platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency for customers in the US construction ecosystem. This role requires strong ownership, solid engineering fundamentals, and the ability to independently take features from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full-stack features.
• Build scalable and high-performance web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering).
• Work on real-time systems and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure high-quality code with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in system design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Take complete ownership of features you build; you run them.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and web architecture, Relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments; CI/CD pipelines; Real-time systems (WebSockets, event-driven architecture, and Celery); and Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Experience With

• Frontend: React, Next.js, or similar.
• Backend: Node.js, Django, or similar.

Good To Have

• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Exposure to domain-driven design or large-scale SaaS products.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (code generation, debugging assistants, etc. ).
• Awareness of emerging AI tools and ability to apply them effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
