Middle Software Engineer (JS/TS)
Indexed description
We're at the most exciting moment in our history. We've moved automation from scripted bots to truly autonomous AI agents that plan, decide, and collaborate — and it's already live in production. The product surface is expanding fast, and every part of it ships through JS/TS.
We're hiring a Middle Software Engineer (JS/TS) with an AI-first mindset to build the product features users actually touch — workflow builders, AI-agent interfaces, document intelligence UIs, integrations. You'll own real surface area from day one, ship to production weekly, and use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex) to move at a pace that's only possible in a 15-person team where engineers think in products, not tickets.
Tech Stack
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Node.js
- NestJS
- Angular
- MongoDB
- AWS
- Docker
- GitLab
- Jira
- Kafka
- .NET / C#
- Python
- AI tools and AI Agent development
- LLM APIs and AI workflow integrations
- Build the AI Agents product surface — workflow builders, agent UIs, document intelligence, and the integrations that make autonomous automation real for customers
- Design and ship scalable system components across backend and frontend (JS/TS, NestJS, Angular)
- Write clean, maintainable code and own it from discovery to production
- Drive architecture discussions and code reviews — not just attend them
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance as the platform scales
- Spot refactoring opportunities and ship technical improvements before they become blockers
- Troubleshoot production and customer issues fast — and turn root causes into permanent fixes
- Partner closely with Product, DevOps, Support, and Engineering — short loops, no silos
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and help raise the bar on engineering standards
- AI-first mindset — non-negotiable. You already use Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar daily, and you've built something real with them: a feature, an agent, an internal tool, a workflow that replaced manual work. Be ready to show it.
- You think in products, not tickets. When you hit a problem, your first instinct is to solve it end-to-end — including with AI — not to wait for the ticket to be refined.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js
- Backend frameworks: NestJS or Express
- Angular on the frontend
- MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- REST APIs and distributed systems
- Solid grasp of software architecture and design patterns
- Comfortable writing unit tests
- Strong Git skills
- Experience working in remote teams
- Strong communication and ownership mindset
- English C1–C2
- Experience building AI-powered features or AI Agents
- Active daily use of AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, etc.)
- AWS and cloud infrastructure
- Kafka or event-driven systems
- Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Open-source contributions, GitHub projects, technical blog, or coding challenges
- Real scale, not toy scale. Build product used by Xerox, Ricoh, Sage, and 7-Eleven — 1M+ workflow runs per month flow through the code you'll write.
- A blank canvas for AI-powered development. You won't be retrofitting AI into a legacy team — you'll be one of the engineers defining how we build with AI as a teammate. 2–3x velocity isn't a slogan here, it's the baseline.
- Velocity you can feel. Flat team, no layers, no committees. You ship Monday, customers see it Tuesday.
- Ownership of real product surface. Backend, frontend, architecture — no artificial boundaries, no waiting on another team to unblock you.
- Grow with the company. We're at the inflection point of our AI Agents era. The engineers who join now become the technical core of what comes next.
- Fully remote, Mon–Fri, 10 AM – 7 PM EST
- Competitive USD salary, PTO, friendly international team
