Software Engineer (Qt) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Qt, you will develop desktop and embedded applications using the Qt framework. You will play a key role in creating fluid, cross-platform user interfaces that seamlessly integrate with high-performance C++ backend logic to support diverse hardware and software environments.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop cross-platform desktop and embedded applications using the Qt framework and C++.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using QML and declarative scripting for various screen resolutions.
• Implement complex application logic, state machines, and device control features within a C++ backend.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure tight integration between UI components and underlying system hardware.
• Optimize application performance and memory usage for resource-constrained embedded systems and desktop environments.
• Maintain high software quality through rigorous testing, debugging, and technical documentation of developed features.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on desktop or embedded application development.
• Proven expertise in developing cross-platform user interfaces using the Qt framework and QML.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ and implementing backend logic for complex applications.
• Hands-on experience with UI/UX design principles for both desktop and embedded systems.
• Strong background in software architecture and performance optimization within the Qt ecosystem.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
