Quality Assurance Tech Lead (On-Site)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day QA testing activities, providing technical direction and guidance to team members
- Develop and execute manual and automated testing strategies to ensure smooth transition of products
- Contribute to the definition of team metrics for measuring quality and operational effectiveness
- Serve as a team advocate for testability, engineering best practices, and defect prevention
- Analyze data to identify problematic areas and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to support quality goals
- Ensure adherence to all company QA procedures and policies
- Mentor junior QA team members and support their professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and/or related work experience in a related field
- 4+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing and test automation/performance
- Solid, demonstrable understanding of software development and testing practices
- 1–2 years of experience leading QA testing projects or serving as a technical point of contact on a QA team
- Proficiency in test automation using Selenium; exposure to C# or similar object-oriented language with willingness to develop fluency
- Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Ability to conduct exploratory testing, create and analyze defect reports, and perform root-cause analysis
- Experience identifying performance, load, and stress testing needs and executing against them using tools such as JMeter, HP LoadRunner, StormRunner, or similar
- Working knowledge of MS Office and related business systems
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and organize testing activities across team members
- Office setting with a moderate noise level.
- The employee will work at an individual workstation, using a telephone and computer.
- Must be able to remain seated for extended periods.
- Regular use of a computer and other office machinery, such as printers and copy machines.
- Occasional movement around the office.
- Frequent communication via telephone.
