Junior Data Scientist

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a talented Data Scientist to uphold the exceptional

quality of our industry-leading products. You work at the intersection of cutting-

edge AI and real-world microbiology laboratory and medical devices challenges.

This role necessitates the ability to work independently while maintaining close

collaboration with data-science and software development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing, training, and optimizing state-of-the-art computer vision

and LLMs models

• Deployment strategies, including optimizing models for high-

performance inference on both cloud and edge devices.

• Contributing to our CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions to ensure

code quality, reliability, and automated testing.

• Capacity to discuss architectures and making technical decisions on

hybrid approaches (Deep Learning + Classical Vision).

Skills

• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence,

Mathematics, Data Science, or any other related discipline

• Broad knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and

statistical modelling

• Programming Language/s experience (Python, C, C++, C#)
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or

Tensorflow

• Strong computing skills and an aptitude for learning advanced software.
• Analytical skills, including the ability to understand and reason about

complex information.

Desirable extras

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)

Junior Data Scientist

• Experience building GenAI solutions, such as retrieval-augmented

generation (RAG), autonomous agents, and evaluation frameworks.

• Basic knowledge in NoSQL databases
