Senior Software Engineer - Middle Office, Treasury
On Site 5 days a week, no flexibility here
The Treasury Technology team at one of New York's leading multi-strategy funds is looking for a Senior Engineer who wants to own something real.
The remit covers funding, margin and collateral, financing optimization, trade allocation, and cash management. Systems that sit at the center of how the firm moves and deploys capital. You'll work directly with the business, shape the technical roadmap, and drive architecture decisions on a platform that has to perform.
The stack is Python (Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy) with event-driven services on Kafka. You'll be designing and building backend services and data pipelines where reliability and operational robustness aren't aspirational, they're the baseline. Experience with optimization or decision-support tooling like Gurobi will be put to use immediately.
This isn't a feature team. You'll take end-to-end ownership of critical components, lead code reviews, define standards, and contribute directly to how the platform evolves.
A Master's or PhD in CS, Mathematics, or Physical Sciences is preferred. Buy-side experience is essential for the role.
Senior IC role. High ownership.
