Software Engineer – Contract‑to‑Hire
Location: Carrollton, TX
Duration: 6‑Month Contract‑to‑Hire
Work Authorization: W2 only; must be able to convert without sponsorship
Onsite Requirement: 5 days per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST)
About the Role
We’re seeking a Software Engineer to join a growing FinTech team. This is a newly created role driven by expansion, offering the opportunity to work on cloud modernization and platform migration initiatives within a collaborative engineering group.
Core Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with C#, SQL, and Azure
- Practical experience using Claude AI for coding
- Experience with LLMs is a plus
- SAS experience not required
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience
Initial Projects
- Migrating legacy systems from an on‑prem data center to the cloud
- Transitioning vendor servicing systems to a SAS‑based platform
Preferred Background
- Experience in loan servicing or the financial services industry is a strong plus
Team & Environment
- Newly created position due to organizational growth
- Current team size: 6 engineers
- Fully onsite role with standard business hours (CST)
