Software Engineer

We're working with a leading defense technology company that develops specialized IT solutions for global security and defense as well as safety-critical industrial sectors. They are a complete provider of complex and hardened IT systems, planning, developing, and implementing customized information and communication systems in hardware and software.

The Role

• Design, implement, and document application software for military communication, hardened hardware platforms, or monitoring/testing systems
• Conduct requirements analysis and system architecture reviews
• Perform in-house and on-site integration, testing, and commissioning
• Plan tasks, including time and effort estimation

What You'll Need

• Degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of application development with C++, C#, or Python
• Proficient with collaboration platforms, version control, and development environments
• Experience with UI design, networked systems, Linux development, Linux platform integration, or information security is a plus
• Excellent German language skills, written and spoken
• Independent and systematic work ethic; creativity and team player
