The Role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design and build core platform capabilities, owning features end-to-end from concept through production while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Drive end-to-end implementation of product requirements

· Build scalable backend systems

· Write clean, maintainable code

· Collaborate cross-functionally

· Own full software development lifecycle

· Balance short-term and long-term architecture

Work Experience

· Experience building AI/LLM infrastructure or data pipelines

· Experience in high-growth startups or large tech companies

· Distributed systems design experience

· Demonstrated scrappiness (founder, side projects, hackathons)

Qualifications

· Strong backend engineering experience

· Proficiency in Go or similar language

· Experience with APIs (GraphQL/REST)

· Cloud experience (AWS)

· Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, or Redis

· Strong problem-solving skills

Hard Skills

· Deep fluency with Go

· Experience with AI tooling (Claude, Cursor, Codex)

· Kafka, Redis, or Kubernetes experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
