Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript/Node.js Backend Focus) (m/w/d)

Planerio is transforming workforce management in healthcare through AI-powered software and mobile solutions. As part of our Absences Team, you’ll build scalable products that help healthcare professionals get where they’re needed most.

Your new role:

• Build and scale modern applications with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript.
• Own features end-to-end — from architecture to deployment and monitoring.
• Work across the stack when needed (React experience is a plus).
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ship impactful features fast.
• Improve systems through automation, clean abstractions, and pragmatic engineering decisions.

Your Experience & Personality:

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong backend expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of scalable architectures and cloud environments.
• Pragmatic mindset: balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Clear communication and strong collaboration skills.
• Ownership mentality and passion for building impactful products.

Technology Stack:

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, ReactQuery
• Backend: Node.js, Kafka, Sequelize, MySQL, AWS, Docker, Terraform
• Testing: Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library
• Monitoring: Grafana
