Do you want to join a team that drives engagement with Amazon customers in innovative and creative ways? The Digital Acceleration (DA) team is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join us to revolutionize the way we sell digital products on Amazon.com.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software services that enable Amazon businesses to engage customers to discover/purchase complimentary physical and digital products together. Your contributions will solve complex problems that impact millions of Amazon customers worldwide.

We are solving some very interesting problems in the next couple of years, and there is a great deal of opportunity to innovate in the Digital Bundling space and drive product direction. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences and backend web-services, strong technical skills, a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment, high creativity, and great analytical reasoning skills.

Amazon Digital Acceleration powers ordering, subscriptions, and device management for Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, and Kindle, amongst other digital businesses. We process billions of digital purchases every year and enable our digital businesses to grow their businesses worldwide. We are on a mission to be earth's best provider of one-time and recurring digital commerce, delivering a seamless and enjoyable post-purchase customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
