What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer, Simulation Sr. Stf you will be responsible for integration and troubleshooting of SSS software products in hardware‑in‑the‑loop and man‑in‑the‑loop lab environments. Our team designs, develops, integrates, simulates, analyzes, deploys, and flight tests leading‑edge systems that enable warfighters to dominate globally.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop and integrate software for distributed, real‑time simulation systems.
- Perform integration and testing of SSS software in HIL and MIL environments.
- Apply simulation software engineering principles and reuse existing code bases.
- Support digital transformation initiatives through advanced software practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile DevSecOps processes.

- Experience leading software development teams.
- Experience with F35 Simulation products to include VSim, JADE, and LIDS
- Experience with Real-time simulation software development & integration
- Experience developing software on Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA)/Object-Oriented Design (OOD) techniques.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as VersionOne and Jira
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
- Experience with automated testing
- An extreme interest in anything airborne, such as fighter aircraft and airplanes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Active F-35 program access
Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
