A leading global trading firm is building a next-generation execution and order management platform. This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on designing and delivering low-latency, cloud-native trading systems used directly by front-office teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build core EMS/OMS components (order routing, lifecycle management, venue connectivity)
  • Deliver scalable, high-performance distributed systems for trading workflows
  • Ensure production reliability: observability, testing, and incident response
  • Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and risk teams


Requirements

  • Strong experience building execution or order management systems
  • Solid systems engineering fundamentals (concurrency, networking, performance)
  • Production experience with C++, Rust, or Python
  • Demonstrated ability to ship robust systems in fast-paced environments


Desirable

  • Experience in financial or commodities markets
  • Deep understanding of FIX protocol
  • Exposure to algorithmic trading or smart order routing
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and real-time data platforms (e.g., ClickHouse, Kafka)
