Frontend Engineer (C++ / Qt / QML / Visualization / Robotics Systems)
📍 Audubon, PA (On-site)
About the Role
This is not a traditional frontend role.
You will build complex, visualization-heavy applications used in robotics and medical systems, including planning workflows, system interaction, and data-intensive UI.
The work sits at the intersection of frontend development, graphics/visualization, and systems engineering, using C++, Qt/QML, and modern UI concepts.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain applications using C++ and Qt/QML
- Develop complex user interfaces for planning, simulation, and system interaction
- Work with data-intensive applications and complex UI state
- Implement features involving visualization, rendering, and spatial data (2D/3D)
- Integrate UI layers with backend systems, devices, and distributed architectures
- Collaborate with engineers working on robotics, real-time systems, and hardware integrations
- Debug issues across multi-component systems (UI, backend, devices)
Must Have
- Strong experience with C++ (modern C++)
- Hands-on experience with Qt framework and QML
- Experience building complex UI applications (beyond basic CRUD)
- Experience with visualization, rendering, or graphics concepts(e.g., OpenGL, 3D rendering, simulation, or similar)
- Experience working with data-heavy, logic-intensive applications
- Solid understanding of software architecture, debugging, and systems thinking
Additional
- Experience in robotics, medical devices, simulation, CAD, or engineering tools
- Experience with real-time or performance-sensitive systems
- Exposure to hardware integration or device communication
- Ability to debug across frontend + backend + system layers
What This Role Is NOT
- Not a React/web frontend role
- Not focused on dashboards, forms, or CRUD interfaces
- Not a UI-only position — requires systems-level thinking
