Model-Based Developer (MATLAB/Simulink & HIL)

we are seeking a skilled Model-Based Developer with strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, simulating, and validating control algorithms and system models for advanced automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system and control models using MATLAB/Simulink
- Design, simulate, and validate algorithms for automotive applications
- Perform Model-Based Design (MBD) and support auto-code generation
- Integrate models with HIL systems for real-time testing and validation
- Work with dSPACE or similar platforms for HIL simulation
- Create test cases and validate models against system requirements
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and system teams for integration
- Debug and optimize models for performance and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and development processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in Model-Based Development
- Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink
- Experience with HIL simulation and testing
- Good understanding of control systems and system modeling
- Experience with auto-code generation (Embedded Coder)
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with dSPACE, Vector tools (CANoe/CANalyzer), or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Stateflow and model-based testing
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture
- Exposure to domains like powertrain, ADAS, or infotainment
- Understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262)
