IT Software Developer – Industrial Automation & PLC Communications

At Körber Supply Chain, we design and deliver advanced automation and intralogistics solutions for complex industrial and logistics environments.

We are looking for a .NET Software Developer to join our team in Madrid and work on IT applications and services connected to industrial automation, PLC communications, SQL databases and process control systems.

Your responsibilities

• Develop applications and services using .NET, C# and .NET Core.
• Implement Windows Services and PLC communication components.
• Work with industrial protocols and communications such as TCP, UDP and ISO-on-TCP.
• Design, develop and optimize SQL databases, including Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Build back-end components, REST APIs and integrations when needed.
• Analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues and prepare technical documentation.
• Collaborate with IT, automation, engineering and project teams.
• Support commissioning activities and provide on-site support when required.

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Degrees in Industrial, Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering may also be considered with relevant software experience.
• At least 2–3 years of experience with .NET / C# development.
• Experience or strong knowledge of PLC communications, industrial automation or control systems.
• Experience with SQL databases, ideally Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of communication networks, protocols and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab, REST APIs, WPF, WinForms or front-end technologies will be a plus.
• B2 English level, spoken and written.
• Availability for occasional travel.
