We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our CSA Infrastructure group. In this role, you will take a technical leadership position, driving the design, scalability, security, and operational excellence of our cloud platforms, while mentoring engineers and shaping DevOps best practices across teams.
How will you make an impact?
- Lead the design, evolution, and operation of large-scale cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, security, resilience, and cost efficiency
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy and quality, ensuring consistency, reusability, and maintainability across environments and development groups
- Act as a technical authority for troubleshooting complex production issues and leading root-cause analysis
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, security, and product teams to align infrastructure with business and product needs
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement
- Lead initiatives around observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Proactively identify risks, technical debt, and optimization opportunities
- Evaluate, introduce, and scale new tools, technologies, and AI-driven automation to improve efficiency and reliability
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Deep expertise with AWS services (Azure experience is a strong advantage)
- Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, groovy)
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK / CloudFormation / Terraform)
- Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerized workloads, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability platforms (Grafana and Prometheus)
- Solid hands-on experience working with Linux environments, including system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and operational best practices
- Strong understanding of security, encryption, and compliance best practices
- Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end responsibility
- Natural technical leader and mentor
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to influence architecture and best practices across teams
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Global mindset and fluent communication in English
