Senior AI-Enabled Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AI-Enabled Software Engineer to join our Colombia-based AI-transformed Pod, where you will build production software using AI coding agents as your primary authoring tool. Your role is not to write code from scratch but to direct AI that writes code, then review, refactor and harden the output. You will also design and integrate agentic workflows into the team's delivery pipeline, contributing to the pod's continuous improvement in throughput and quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-quality software with AI coding agents as the primary code-authoring tool
• Translate executable specs written by the PO and Architect into working, tested, deployed code
• Design and integrate agentic workflows into the pod's pipeline where they add measurable value
• Maintain and extend context packs used by AI agents and incoming team members
• Conduct rigorous review on AI-drafted output for correctness, security, performance and maintainability
• Pair with the Architect on complex design decisions and integration points
• Contribute to test automation embedded in the CI/CD pipeline
• Participate in continuous WoW refinement every 2–3 weeks

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Daily, production-grade use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot (Aider or equivalent also accepted)
• Proficiency in cloud-native development, preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proven experience in a CI/CD, trunk-based, continuously-deployed environment
• Strong testing discipline (TDD or test-after with measurable coverage targets)
• Expertise in Architecture Assessment, Architecture Design and Specification Driven Development (SDD)
• Bilingual: English (working proficiency) and Spanish
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore or building production agentic systems
• Familiarity with Github Spec Kit
• Contributions to AI-native developer tooling or workflows
• Prior experience in spec-driven development environments
• Claude Certified Architect (CCA)
• AWS certifications
