- Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing C++ applications, preferably in real time environments.
- Strong foundation in numerical methods, linear algebra, or related scientific computing concepts.
- Proven ability to perform data analysis or validation to verify software correctness.
- Experience creating automated test suites for validating algorithms.
- Strong documentation and communication skills for producing clear algorithm specifications and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills
- Experience implementing common data association techniques (e.g., nearest neighbor, Hungarian assignment, JPDA/MHT) within C++ applications.
- Solid understanding of filtering and state estimation methods (Kalman, EKF/UKF, particle filters) and how they interact with measurement association.
- Ability to design and apply statistical gating, clustering, and outlier rejection strategies to improve association reliability.
- Familiarity with probabilistic scoring, distance metrics (Mahalanobis, Euclidean) and evaluation measures for association quality.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and standard software development tools.
- Experience creating synthetic/real sensor datasets and automated test suites for validating data association algorithms.
- Strong documentation and communication skills for producing clear algorithm specifications and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work remotely
