About the Role:

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you’ll play a leadership role in the design and development of mission-critical systems that enable spiderSilk’s cutting-edge cybersecurity platform. You’ll mentor junior engineers, lead project initiatives, and ensure technical excellence across the board.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, and deploy software solutions at scale.
• Guide best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical mentorship.
• Drive innovation by researching new technologies and approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in one or more languages such as Python, Java and building solutions working at high scale.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with security principles and secure coding practices.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor other engineers.
• Proficient with AI tools supporting operations & development.
• A startup mindset - fast-moving, product-focused, and ready to lead by doing
