Software Engineer - IVR (Expert Level)

Position Summary

As a Software Engineer on our team, you will work alongside highly talented IVR developers who are passionate about delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable self-service solutions for the contact center.

In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support IVR applications operating in a modern Cloud environment, using proven engineering best practices and high-quality development standards. You will help shape solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes, and you will play a key part in ensuring that our systems and designs reflect the highest levels of technical excellence.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years hands on Java/Spring development with hands on experience for complex applications.

Previous experience with Speech enabled IVR development using Genesys or/Nuance Framework

Experience with Java/JavaScript, Spring, Groovy & VXML

Well versed in using AI tools such as GitHub CoPilot

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity in deploying contact center solutions in a private or public cloud environment

Experience in building/deploying applications on MS Azure or OpenShift platform

Responsibilities

Build and enhance IVR applications using modern engineering practices and Cloud technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design solutions that align with strategic business goals.

Ensure high-quality code delivery through strong development, testing, and quality control practices.

Lead and mentor developers as part of an agile team, fostering a culture of learning and teamwork.

Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve existing IVR applications to ensure optimal performance.

Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions that guide the direction of our solutions.

Additional Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure, Experience with OpenShift, Experience deploying or supporting applications in a modern cloud environment, Familiarity with private or public cloud deployments, Use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pennington, NJ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $68.00/hr.
