We are currently searching for an AP Clerk at Hospitality Management Corporation in Wichita, KS.

Job Description:

Matching, batching, coding and entering invoices

Entering, posting and reconciling batches

Researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors

Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger

Maintaining cash applications, account reconciliations

Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

Maintaining historical records

Scheduling vendor payments and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance

Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

Continuing to improve the payment process

Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions

Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.

Accounts Payable Clerk Qualifications / Skills:

Tracking budget expenses

Attention to detail

Thoroughness

Organization

Analyzing information

Accounting

Vendor relationships

PC proficiency

Data entry skills

General math skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus

Previous Accounts Payable Experience Preferred
