Software Engineer (Unreal Engine) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Unreal Engine, you will develop high-quality games and simulations using C++ and Blueprints. You will play a key role in building complex gameplay systems and optimizing real-time graphics to ensure a seamless and immersive user experience.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable gameplay mechanics and systems using C++ and Unreal Engine.
  • Develop and maintain engine-level modifications and custom plugins to enhance project capabilities.
  • Optimize rendering performance and manage resource-heavy assets to maintain high frame rates.
  • Collaborate with artists and designers to translate creative visions into functional interactive features.
  • Build and debug visual scripting logic using Blueprints for rapid prototyping and iteration.
  • Ensure technical stability through rigorous debugging, profiling, and performance tuning across target platforms.

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on game development.
  • Proven expertise in developing games and simulations using Unreal Engine and C++.
  • Proficiency in working with gameplay systems, rendering, and engine-level modifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Blueprints for visual scripting and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices within the Unreal ecosystem.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
