Financial Controller

We are looking for a high-caliber Financial Controller to serve as the backbone of our financial operations. You won't just be managing the ledger; you will be the guardian of our fiscal health and a key navigator for our growth strategy. The ideal candidate is a master of technical accounting who possesses the leadership grit to scale processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Stewardship: Lead the global monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes with precision, ensuring all financial statements comply with GAAP/IFRS.
• Strategic Oversight: Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring data integrity and implementing robust internal controls to mitigate risk.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Manage cash flow forecasting and optimize working capital to support ambitious scaling initiatives.
• Compliance & Tax: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure seamless tax compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
• Process Engineering: Identify "friction points" in the financial tech stack and implement automation (ERP enhancements, AI-driven reconciliation) to reduce manual overhead.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence.

The Profile (Requirements)

• Experience: 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Assistant Controller or Controller level).
• Credentials: CPA or CMA certification is required. A Big 4 accounting background is a significant plus.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in [Specific ERP, e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct] and expert-level Excel modeling skills.
• Analytical Rigor: The ability to translate complex financial data into "so-what" insights for non-financial stakeholders.
