Frontend Software Development Engineer

You will play a key role in delivering high-performing, responsive, and accessible web applications, working closely with designers, backend teams, and product stakeholders to create seamless digital experiences across CMS and LMS environments.
Location – Home based in Poland (ideally Warsaw area, but flexible nationwide) with occasional in-person meetings (1–2 per quarter)
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development
- Build and maintain user-facing web applications using modern frontend technologies
- Develop responsive, mobile-first interfaces aligned with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Work closely with UI/UX teams to translate designs into clean, reusable components
- Optimise website performance, speed, and overall user experience
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot code to ensure stability and cross-browser compatibility
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate frontend solutions within CMS/LMS platforms
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and processes
- Core: HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript (ES6+)
- Frameworks: React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Platforms: Drupal (preferred), Opigno LMS
- Hosting/Cloud: Acquia
- Tools: JIRA (or similar)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in frontend web development, ideally within complex or enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Experience working with CMS-driven platforms, especially Drupal
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of web accessibility, performance optimisation, and best practices
- Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Fluence in English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality UI delivery
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Continuous learning mindset and passion for modern frontend technologies

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is zł134,100.00 - zł248,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
