Finance Director – Supply Chain (42554)


Our client is an organization in the greater Lacrosse area looking for a Finance Director. Our client is looking for someone with 10+ years of experience, prior manufacturing experience, and strong leadership skills. This role is hybrid with being in office 4x/month.


The salary range for this position is $130k-195k +bonus.


The Finance Director will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities for manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, inventory, and other operational cost centers.
  • Direct the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis for supply chain operations.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and Plant leadership to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives.
  • Deliver actionable financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and cost management.
  • Monitor key operational and financial metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that impact profitability and performance.
  • Support pricing, sourcing, capital investment, inventory, and cost optimization decisions through detailed financial modeling and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and KPIs to enhance transparency and operational decision-making.
  • Lead month-end and year-end financial review processes related to operational and manufacturing results.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, forecasts, and reporting across supply chain functions.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability within finance operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support enterprise initiatives, business transformations, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for finance team members while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Support internal controls, compliance requirements, and adherence to organizational financial policies and procedures.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed


The Finance Director will possess the following:


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Manufacturing industry experience required.
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience managing a high performing finance team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
